An asterisk game on record tonight as the game was missing two AWOL notables in Sean Oye and Peter Johnson, the latter of whom falling victim to stomach flu on the way to the game... alas, a rare occasion in our illustrious league history with just one (rotating) goalie and a crossbar-or-post rule in effect… bodies were still a-flyin around tonight as Gord Chan and Peter Choi both adjust their faces and re-check themselves in separate collisions tonight… the game went both ways but Team Aspirin pulled away with a burst of quick goals, while acting-captain Frank Riccardi had a few glorious last second chances to get close but couldn't hit the iron for the score... pre-game opened with some x-mas music on tap and both teams played with a jovial (holiday?) mood on and off the ice… season's greetings to all and see you in the new year… special thanks to each player for their generous cash donations to our sponsor family too!
