The conclusion of the series and no shortage of excitement... Team Ibuprofen rode a wave of momentum with convincing wins and tonight was no different, dominating the play all night with their potent breakout plays... the night had a ridiculous seven subs in the mix, highlighted by rookie debuts of Heiko Hoffmann and Allan Cho... latter of whom was welcomed to the league in a spectacular play-stopping (but accidental) collision… the game also featured a rare husband vs. wife matchup on opposing sides… meanwhile the outcome was never in doubt and Team Aspirin were unable to clinch the series watching the clock tick down for the series deciding shootout immediately afterwards… Team Ibuprofen opted against a strategic order (instead deferring to the defaulted list) which may have factored in their undoing while Team Aspirin regulars could not find the back of the net (though a few posts were close)… ultimately needing goals from subs Allan Cho, Young Yuen, and Justin Flett who ices the series win as the final shooter on his side… winning the shootout 3 - 2… another hard fought series and fun for all… great work everyone.
