First game of the final season series and it had a bit o everything... a rare ref on duty... goalie showing up without skates... a bevy of new and old subs... and even fans falling ill in the stands... and a new era of captaincy emerges as Jim Chan and Ray Chan are first-time-elects to lead Team Dark, while veteran leadership in Frank Riccardi and Albert Chang lead Team White... both teams were even early on trading chances and goals... all amidst the well-intentioned eye of volunteer ref Gary Harris, who had some adjustments to MDHL play... and in light of some whiners and complainers on this particular night, has since been endorsed to generously hand out unsportsmanlike penalties in future games... regardless, it was an entertaining match with chances at both ends and Team Dark pulled away in the late stages to ice the first win of the series!
