Final season tourney concludes…

A rare two-table, 17-member battle royal to wind up the inaugural season, and after the dust cleared, another well-past-due veteran, Geoff MacDougall finally takes 'er down... rivering a full-house in the final hand too (especially after his solid bout of folding for the first hour or so)... the evening's "wear a tie, get a show-em chip" change-up in effect tonight, but a few chips were left unused due to bust-outs... at least made for some good pics... newcomers Mark Yu and visiting american Marvin Lee made nice debuts getting to the final table... but the four horsemen group of Jeff, Nigel, Ian and Geoff made the highlight reel (after most of the house had cleared out) with evenly distributed chips and suck-outs galore... amidst a majority (but not unanimous call) for a chopped pot scenario... somehow those 4K/8K blind levels had something to say about that anyways... thanks to all that contributed the numourous eats/drinks to the evening and double kudos to stalwart veteran (and superior TD in his own right) Ian Chang for lending his chip set and assisting on much of the evening's play...
And so the season leaderboard is cemented and the Top-3 members hang onto their positions overall... congrats to Peter Choi for a solid first-half to cruise in as the overall season victor... new season starts next month... in the meantime, enjoy the rest of your summer!
