Team Dragons 9 vs. Team Warriors 8

Oh the suspense and intensity in this otherwise choppy and less-than-flowing game (compared to last week) where both teams wanted a win in desperation to seal the series... but alas, the Dragons would not be denied, with their attacking lines taking advantage of a depleted D-corps at the other end, fielding usual forwards, Jason Lai and Terry Wong to guard the blueline... and swarm they did, including a key shift resulting in 3 quick goals and a 3-goal lead in an otherwise tight game... the Warriors fought back with time ticking and a pulled goalie situation to notch two late goals, including a buzzer beater but still one goal short of victory... and so a much anticipated, (but hasty) shootout ensued... again a tight battle as both goalies were on fire... in the final outcome, Warrior shooters, Peter Choi, Frank Riccardi, and sub Jeff Yu lit the lamp to outduel Lawrence Lau and Jim Chan in a 3-2 outcome... truly a nail-biter and one for the history books... great series all, and special thanks to captains Frank Riccardi and Albert Chang for their effort and input over the past few series to-date.
