The MDHL opens their final series of the season at RIC, on a rare Saturday start… and with a welcome return to pre-game music track too... call it the extra day of rest, or the excitement of new teams, but both sides were flying out there in a high tempo exciting game... certainly up there in the best-of-the-season category... new captains were christened with Peter/Lonny leading Team Blue, and Lawrence/Ray C leading Team Red... some new leadership to crack the whip on their shock troops... action at both ends tonight in what was NOT a goaltending dual tonight... the TSN turning point had to be a 4-goal outburst in one shift by the Leung-Oye-Lai line to turn a 6-7 deficit into a 10-7 lead... and enough to hold on for the win, in spite of hat tricks by Dharmesh Dass and Ravi Naidu to lead the gutsy Team Blue attack... looks like the makings of a great series as we head into the thick of spring time!
