Team Rub Out 8 vs. Team IR 7

Another exciting tilt tonight, but both teams seemed a notch slower than games past... either way, both teams wanted it badly and it showed by the spit and vinegar in the air as penalties and off-sides were contested by both benches... teams traded goals and kept it close at 4-4, but a power-play goal opened it up for Team Rub Out and they sailed to an 8-4 lead... only to see it clawed back to a one-goal game with three minutes left, thanks to Jim Chan and his energetic fore check resulting in an aerial pass across for a key assist... but pulling the goalie and having a late flurry were not enough for Team IR to pull out a tie, so they go into the final game needing a win to force a series-deciding shootout.
