A hastily planned event on short notice (in a holiday month no less) runs the risk of cancellation, if not for the heroic feats by Fernando Chow saving the event with wife Alice and reeling in four friends along the way... and so it was an MDPL welcoming to Jim, Terry, Neil and Tony... the latter of whom made it all the way to a 3rd place ITM debut on a conservative (and rather low stakes) night of poker... likely everyone playing it tight against unfamiliar foes, while the unofficial tourney host (Fern) finished up on the bubble for the second time in both his MDPL appearances... and to defend the honour of the original MDPL regulars, Frank Riccardi and Jason Lai outlasted the rest, while current leaderboard champ Peter Choi bowed out relatively early on with surprisingly little fanfare or poker fireworks... leaving his buddy Frank to vault into second place on the leaderboard and now hot on his heels... thanks to all for making it out on short notice and hope to see you all next time!
