WINTER 2011 SERIES: MDHL GAME #12 REVIEW

Team NEO 7 vs. Team MATRIX 11
Friday, March 25, 2011

The final game of the Winter Series was by no means a classic. It appeared that the majority of the players from Team Neo were celebrating their series win in Disneyland as they had no fewer than six subs.

The Oye brothers and the trashy mouth of Mr. Choi were not enough to overcome the dominance of Team Matrix tonight. Both forward lines were producing and all defenders of Team Matrix were playing with poise and discipline. It may have been a mean nothing game for the series, however, there was pride on the line for both teams as emotions were running high on both sides.

Congratulations to both teams! To Team Neo for winning the series and to Team Matrix for winning the most memorable game in any series... the last game.

MDHL STARS OF THE GAME
  Joe Dasilva
A first-time MDHLer who created havoc for the defense of Team Neo by utilizing his speed, skill and playmaking abilities.
  Lonny Wong
The sniper for Team Matrix tonight scored four goals and intentionally missed a late breakaway showing mercy for the opposing team.
  Peter Johnson
He was the only reason the score was as close as it was. He must have faced close to 87 shots making world class saves.
