Fresh off a playoff victory for the Canucks, both teams were surely pumped for action on the ice tonight... and what a close playoff-like game it was, at least as far as a low scoring affair goes... both teams traded chances and found themselves knotted at 3 apiece in the late stages... amidst an open ice collision which sent Team Dark a man down for a few shifts on the forward lines, but they prevailed... with RW Ravi Naidu testing out a suspect knee... along with alumnus returns of Toli Sidoropolous and Clark Lim in both lineups... special teams played a role as Sean Oye iced a short handed marker for his side to gain some elusive momentum, but in the dying moments when Blackhawk-like pressure was applied by Team White... it was a sneaky slapshot from the other end of the ice into an empty net that ultimately sealed the deal.
