A fine birthday present indeed.

A timely return visit by Jeff Yu to the west coast made for a two-table tourney and Canucks-themed attire to show support for Vancouver's Stanley Cup quest (as well as earning some Show-Em chips in the process). Most of the usuals were in attendance, along with a rare appearance by Nigel Williamson and his aussie friend Peter (L) in tow. With two tables of action underway and pocket rockets seemingly good for nada tonight... all were upstaged by the birthday announcement (and singing) for Vince Fung, who rode his timely occasion all the way to victory and a healthy payday for his efforts... meanwhile Victoria Wong continues her torrid ITM winning performances with a runner-up finish (and collecting that coveted $10 past-winner bounty too), while Frank Riccardi plays the patient game to round out a solid 3rd place finish (in consecutive outings too)... so Jeff now returns to TO with an early flight in the morning and ample time to stew over his AA loss to Dharm's lowly 55 all-in. So, thanks for everyone's food, drink, chairs and top-up contributions. Good times had by all tonight and hopefully a big Stanley Cup win in the days to come!
