Frank clinches the season title!

The final match of season 3 was held tonight, with apologies to those left on the waitlist... meanwhile the current leader to-date, Dharmesh Dass, was out of town for this one and desperately clinging to his lead, amidst five hopefuls at the table with a legitmate shot at the title... and it was another healthy night of poker action, with Peter Choi making a late appearance, yet rallying to make the final heads-up showdown... while Victoria Wong continues her torrid ITM finishing percentage with a 3rd place result (and probably a season title of her own if she could attend more events)... but it was the patient teacher Frank Riccardi using some crafty play to emerge as the victor tonight and clinch the season title, while buddy Pete holds on to second spot in the season standings (and taking over the lifetime winnings to-date title in the process)... in other news, Andy Kwan topples last event winner, Vince Fung to take the sweet bounty... a huge congrats to all the winners!
And alas, on this finale evening it appeared most everyone was still in the mood for degenerate gambling, so the follow-up cash game (aka losers' lounge) was in full force as nine participants all clumsily battled it out until 3AM... after many an orbit, your loyal host appeared to be the big winner (of the losers) in the cash format, but a small consolation for an otherwise dismal season performance as the defending champ from last season... nonetheless, a good time had by all, and the final standings are in the books... along with a vicious rumour of a possible trophy which may materialize in the fall... thanks to everyone for their participation (and contributions) all season long... enjoy your summer hiatus!
