Beat. Down. Or shall we say Team Finishers were indeed the finishers tonight on the first game after trade-o-rama, as four players were motivated to stick it to their old team after being traded to the opposition. Whatever the case, it turned into a one-sided affair as an early 2-0 lead ultimately turned out to be all that was needed, as Team UB were challenged to find chemistry and scoring punch tonight. Meanwhile, special teams played a role and the teams even saw a bit of 4-on-4 action tonight. The game was also highlighted by a grand open ice collision resulting a bizarre (unsportsmanlike conduct??) penalty assessed to the winning team captain. Strange days indeed. Otherwise, a forgettable game from a competitive standpoint and Team UB look to rally back and find some momentum after the most lopsided game of the series to-date.
