Season opener with familiar faces.

The MDPL returns for their fourth season and open with Girl Guide Cookie-for-a-show-em chip night… and everyone was raring to go… perhaps none more than Jeff Yu, who has been our an on-again, off-again player from last season with his out-of-town residency to deal with… but tonight was not his night as he bowed out quietly without even a controversial play to speak of. Nonetheless, it was the usual stalwarts battling for a start on the leaderboard… and not surprisingly, both Victoria Wong (our ITM % leader) and Dharmesh Dass (an almost champ from last season) both make placings… with our New Zealander All-Blacks rugby supporter, Nigel Williamson taking the first title of the season, and doing it in style with pocket rockets on the final hand… while strangely enough, it was both Nigel and Dharmesh collectively doing the hitman deed on the entire table tonight. So, a great kick off to the season, hope to see you all back in the fold soon!
